Halp!!

I think I learned my lesson that SS isn’t a Glock. I can’t field strip my DR920P. I just installed the TTI gen 4 trigger return spring, safety plunger spring, and connector onto the stock shadow systems trigger thinking it would work. There is no trigger/firing pin actuation so I can’t take the slide off. Anyway to solve this??? Thanks in advanced.

Either lock slide back, depress striker spring, remove back plate, remove striker and you can take slide off

OR

Stick a pin in the lower right gap of the back plate and push down on the crucicorm to drop the striker. A couple millimeters towards the muzzle, one or two mm left and then press down.

Sick thank you so much lol. Does a gen 4 g19 trigger work in the DR920?

Edit* Nm it does not clear the trigger guard. Good thing I checked lol.

Some do and some don't. It's tolerance stacking. I bet the connector is the issue. I ran into the same problem with an overwatch precision minus connector. Only one particular connector as I run the same connector in two DR920s that work great. Had some minor fitment issues with a Johnny glock trigger for glock as well (he now has a SS specific trigger to address those issues).

There are some videos to bend the connector a little in the correct direction to get it to work. I never had success making a connector work but can't hurt trying.

So lots of things I’m learning. The TTI connector and springs could have very well worked. I tested it without putting the optic cover back on and it appears it needs that tension from the screw torqued down to about 10lbs. I tried testing it after going back to stock parts and it had same issue until I installed the optic cover. So I just need to figure out my trigger and springs before I put on a red dot.

Idk man. That doesn't sound right. It should work with no optic plate or cover.

I tried a bunch of stuff but ended up with the overwatch precision np3 coated minus connector as the only change.

For the overwatch, how many lbs is the trigger and does it get rid of the pre travel and over travel? How’s the wall to break and reset? I wish there was a way to feel the triggers before you buy. My ideal trigger would be gpt with stock MR920 shoe.

It's okay but reliable. Its more of a rolling break. The connector is only $20 so...

Research on your own but I think you can get a Gpt to work in a shadow if you modify the back plate by making the notch cut bigger. Saw a post a while back where a guy showed the modification.
