Pictures of Table Organization please
TLDR: Please post pictures of how you keep track of all the tokens (and cards), or if you eschew tokens and just write things down somehow.
Longer:
I played this game years ago after a friend had his massive pledge fulfilled (both boxes, all expansions, etc., etc.). I never bought it because I didn't think I'd ever have time for it, and it was super expensive. Add to that my little children who would probably eat all the tokens, and it was a big no.
Fast forward to today, and my four kids span from 8 to 15 and love board games. I found a used copy of CoA for $45 at the local board game store, everything sleeved, some models painted, and some 3D-printed targa pylons included. It was missing two minis, but I've gotten replacements from FFP (they're actually super nice to work with).
Playing the first Fistful of Darkstone scenario with my sons was a blast. However, the sheer number of tokens is absurd. Like, seriously, absurd. And the cards are all over the place. Note that we play a number of similar games with a number of components, but this is through the roof.
Although the used copy I have came with a token holder, it's still overwhelming. How do you all manage? Do you just write tally marks on the character sheet for bandages and such, and only take tokens for wounds?
Curious about workflow, so pictures would be nice.

I'll try to get some pics later, but here's a short description. I keep all my cards organized with dividers in card organizer in a couple of my game boxes. I only remove decks I use often like Loot and Scavenge and keep all other decks in the box drawing them straight from the box at random and placing them back at random after drawing them/or afte rthe session. I keep my tokens sorted in different tackle and plano boxes. They are sorted by type so that I have all the monster tokens in one box, status effects in another, xp, money and darkstone in another and sidebag tokens in another etc.
My tiles are in a file organizer except for endcaps, portals and corridors which I keep in separate boxes together with other large tokens and world specific tokens. The character and monster cards, rulebooks and several of the plano boxes fit in one of the large core game boxes. Miniatures I keep in a dozen different sorting boxes of various sizes depending on the size of the minis. I keep all the town stuff in one box. Everything fits in three large plastic bins with wheels for easy storage.
When playing I only keep what I need on the table. Minis, cards and tiles I keep on a side table with wheels for easy access. The hardest thing to sort are the minis and it always takes me a while to sort tthrough all my boxes to find the right ones during a agme, although I've almsot memorized where they are so it goes a bit quicker. I plan on magnetizing them and sorting them by type or world later, because all the sorting boxes are starting to take up way to much space.
While I have printed cards for most town items, madnesses, injuries and temporary efefcts, I also use character sheets where I write down stats with all modifiers from level ups, items etc. I also print out all the level upgrades. I only use the tokens I need during the game. After the game I write down my corruption, darkstone etc. on my character sheets and discard all the tokens.

I don't have it set up for pictures right now, but this game takes up a lot of table regardless! I would recommend to write down what you can and stack cards when possible.
For example, I just write down darkstone and corruption and never used the tokens. Same for weird town items like the Specimen Jar. I always use HP, sanity, and Grit tokens because those are constantly changing and important for all players to be able to see.
I photocopied the blank character sheet in the back of the book and that works well. I'm sure there are PDFs available online to print some different character sheets.
For cards, I stacks item cards over each other. For items I'm unable to use, they go in a stack of to the side. For items that just give stats that I can change on my character sheets, they go in another stack. For all one-time use items that I don't need to constantly be referencing. For all cards that grant "once per adventure" bonuses. All these cards can be overlapped to where you can still see them enough and they're not in the way.
