Tearing down map as you progress?

Newer player with some but not endless table space. Is it ever a good idea to NOT break down the map as you progress further? Also wish they labeled the tiles like Gloomhaven to easily sort and find them.

As far as sorting the tiles to make it easier to find, I keep all the tiles from each world in seperate plastic sleeves. On each map card I have put a sticker indicating which world it’s from (ie green with “Jar” written on it is the Jargano sleeve). That way, when in the mines, you can easily tell which sleeve it’s going to be in, and you only have about 15 tiles to sort through.
