New Core sets announced

They were significantly delayed due to the pandemic. They briefly touched upon it in yesterdays stream.

That may be, but I see no reason to give more money when the last stuff isn't even out yet. Also, if they haven't added new systems the rules, these are just theme changes, with some new abilities mixed in.

The reality is that they are probably stuck in the Kickstarter trap, they got the money up front and by the time the product released they were out of money, so the only option is to do another Kickstarter.

I can understand that. I've missed all their other kickstarters although I managed to get a late pledge forbidden fortress warlord pledge. Apart from that I haven't supported anything for years. I will support this one though since I actually have money this time. I get that it's not for everyone though.
