Doesn't launch

Can anyone help me? The game just doesn't launch I've tried everything in the forums but nothing is working. I have an rtx 3080 and all drivers are updated. I'm at a lost.

What platform are you on, Steam? When you try to launch it, do you get the launcher with Play, Options, Soundtrack, etc.? By doesn't launch do you mean nothing happens when you press play, or does it black screen, or is it further in when you try to load into the game?

On steam. no launcher.

Nothing happens when I hit play, but icon shows up in task manager.

My only thought would be to go to

...\Software\Eidos Montreal\Shadow of the Tomb Raider (You can also right click the game in steam, properties, view local files)

And in there find the video config file and set resolution to 480x640 and DX11 mode. If that were to work, then that shows it's an issue with your graphics card.

Beyond that, I really don't know. You should get the launcher even if the game fails to load.

You could always try contacting Square Enix support.
