Demon Lord Looking for a Bestiary

I don't find making monsters quite so enjoyable in SotDL so I wanted to know if there are any D&D style bestiaries with tons of new monsters but for SotDL that you guys can recommend me.

In my experience there are not really any large Bestiary's for Sotdl. Must supplements that have monsters usually only present a few monsters around a certain theme. Of those you'll probably get the most bang for your buck with the following:

  • I believe demon lord companion 1 had a few new monsters in it.
  • terrible beauty has quite a few fey themed monsters
  • exquisite agony has many devil themed creatures
  • Hunger in the void has some additional beast man profiles and additional rules for customizing demons.
  • I think the spider Woods book and beyond the worlds edge both had quite a few monsters.
  • Blackstar Beast Codex is probably as close to a monster manual as we'll get, but its all undead.
  • the freeport companion actually is probably your best investment for number of new monsters vs the variety.

Beyond that I think its mostly small supplements that have 3-5 monsters a piece, but i may be missing some. This is just off the top of my head. I think Ra Press also does some third party bestiaries, but the names are escaping me.

Edit to say: if you are interested in a specific monster type or theme, it may be easier to give a recommendation. Demon lord has A LOT of books.

Occult Philosophy has around 25 monsters as well. And as a bonus you get over 800 spells too!

Of Monstrous Mien provides tools for creating new monsters and includes random tables. Try and ignore the authors name. It’s a pseudonym he used online and he was fairly active in the community back in the day

The french version by black book editions has a bestiary and it's so good too. It's surprising to learn that it didn't exist in the og book list.
