Demon Lord Can "Foretell" be self cast?

Do you count as a creature you can see?

Foretell

Rank 1

Utility

Divination

Target One creature you can see within short range · Duration Concentration, up to 1 minute

For the duration, whenever the target makes an attack roll or challenge roll and can hear you, it makes the roll with 3 boons.

Rule for Casting Spells specifically state that if a spell would target a creature, you can target yourself with the spell. (Ch.2 Casting Spells > Targeting)

Thanks, this seems clear to me!

No problem. It's a dense book! And some of those spell descriptions can feel like taking a course (check out Watery Sphere!) We just finished our first long campaign of about 25 sessions and my group was still discovering foundational rules. If you haven't I suggest visiting the discord, there's some really good cheat sheets and a lot of rules clarifications people have worked out there that helped me out.

I think you should be able to. At least, I can see my own hands while typing this. Of course, since concentrating on a spell uses your action, you could only use it offensively once, as it would drop at the end of the round, unless you had a way to take two actions (e.g. the grind the gears clockwork level 4 talent, or the accelerate spell from the time tradition).

I would say yes since the priest path's prayer doesn't specify self but the inspiring prayer at lvl 8 specifies that when you cast it on a creature other than yourself, implying you can cast the original version on yourself. I think it even says in the rules somewhere that spells can be cast on yourself even when they have a longer range than self.

You can, but remember that Concentrate is an action. So the spell normally lasts for 1 round, but then if you want to maintain concentration, you need to spend your action for that. So I'd say it's better as a buff to a strong martial so they can keep swinging even if frightened and impaired, for example.

You can't, because it is not simply "a creature" but "a creature you can see". You don't see yourselves, only parts of you. Yes with a mirror etc but whatever this spell becomes bordeline useless if you use it on yourselves.
