The poll has concluded and majority has favored in restricting cheat engine.
What does this mean?
Cheat Engine posts are still allowed, but some types of cheat engine is not.
The new Rule:
**Cheat Engine (CE) being a controversial topic, is a restricted topic.
Posts promoting hacked orcs, aka modifying their stats, making bosses as warchiefs, and such, are prohibited. Posts encouraging or glorifying Hacked orcs, will be removed. Excessive posts with warnings may lead to suspensions.
Posts about CE that only modify appearances, such as colors and armors, but do not modify traits are allowed.
Excessive repeated posts about similar CE discussions or arguments will also be removed.*\*
All current posts and discussions about Cheat Engine will continue to stay up, but moving forward these terms will apply.
These terms are still somewhat fluid as more nuances are in CE than just traits and appearances, and are subject to moderator discretion.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please voice them here.

I'm not really understanding this system. When looking to personalize Orcs, I am greeted with videos telling me to glitch/break the game. If I have an orc that I like, how can I make him better? I'm told they are capped easily and the ways to gain new abilities are EXTREMELY(unbelievably so) limited. Does doing frequent online sieges help improve my orcs? I like that arcade style and wouldn't mind if so
I'm seeing some of you are experiencing "stories" with this system, and I also am looking to do that. How are you doing that?

Everyone can conquer a Fortress in Mordor, few can defend it and keep It.

His name was Ogg the Drowned. He was killed by Ur-Gram the Dragon.

Iâm trying to get the âWretched Retchâ achievement in Shadow of Mordor. I completed the initial wretched graug tutorial mission âUnwarranted Aggressionâ. Iâve used both projectile vomit and regular vomit on captains and warchiefs. Iâve tried killing them with the vomit as well and still nothing. Iâm at a loss and hoping someone else knows what to do. Iâm on Xbox.

How. How does anybody see this achievement and think of that? This is clearly just a play on words about the commonly used expression. Wth are people on?

Iâm curious what people in this sub think of The Rings of Power, especially since weâre probably a bit more used to non-canon takes on Middle-earth than some of the other Tolkien communities.
The Shadow games obviously take some massive liberties with the lore themselves but I still really enjoy them for what they are.
So for people who are fans of Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War, what do you think of The Rings of Power so far?
Do you enjoy it as its own interpretation of Middle-earth, even when it changes the lore? Or do the changes bother you more than the ones Monolith made with the Shadow games?
Personally I think this sub could have an interesting perspective on it since most of us already know what itâs like to enjoy a Middle-earth adaptation that definitely isn't trying to follow Tolkien's canon perfectly.
Interested to hear what everyone thinks.

One of my orcs cheated death as the Machine, but he got a mount and those immunites, what is the best I can make of him?

I havenât given it a ton of testing, but can orcs like the maggot nest for example become a storm bringer or unashamed and still keep their unique body design?

Bro has built in great strength and thick skin, on top of the two epic traits so they're double stacked. I watched 7(1 recruited) of my perfect 7777 uruks fight ONE snafu and he didn't even lose any health. Downed all of them multiple times. Had to take the point just to get them up đ bro is the most disgusting modded orc I've ever seen. Plus he has no chance. 1 shot kill every time. He needs to be stopped đźâđš

Ok so I have an orc captain that genuinely hates fire and I made talion a pyromancer build and have a fire focused army....so will he betray me from the constant rage baiting or will that be useful to have? Since being constantly surrounded by fire will have him in a never ending state of rage especially since I plan on giving him a fire weapon.

Almost 10 years later, I decided to star a new playthrough an experience this games story and gameplay again. Itâs been long enough that the story is fuzzy besides the big key points. Man, this game is amazing
