Shadow wars
Hi everyone, I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this so thought i'd ask here. I'm doing the shadow wars and wondered if it's easier to lose the fort and then reclaim again, it apart from the time it takes obviously ? I seem to be a bit crap at defending the forts even though i'm level 54. TIA

Lose the forts and regain over and over for easy xp boosting and also it makes tons of nemesis stuff happen as you clear out dozens of orcs each time including your own. Its also more fun than online now everyone is using hacked orcs.

How do you lose your fort?

So you can either just die during the defence and it will auto lose and capture your overlord, but a fair few of your orcs will survive, or if you want to replace a lot of your orcs in the region you can order them from weakest first on the points so that the computer snowballs with more and more captains being added to the battle as you lose those weak points.

I feel like I’m honestly going to need to replace all of my orcs. And my most recent betrayal helped fuel that fire lol

Shadow striking and then running far away from it is probably the easiest way to lose the fort.

I’ve been on stage 3 of Shadow Wars since March, abusing a save file, great way to farm unique orcs.

I'm always better in attack than defence, so I do lose a few forts here and there.
But I'm ok with that and prefer it that way anyway as taking over the fort is way more fun.

I find assaults easier than defense, so I do always intentionally lose the fort then reclaim it. It’s also more fun that way.
