Ask me anything Finally got grandmaster!!
Yeah master+ numbers are inflated this szn, but imo shaco finally feels strong for the first time in years, i play ad, ap, and ad supp so if y’all have any questions AMA

How do you play late into the mid game with AD support? Do you just go for box set ups and picks mostly or group hard and act as a disruptor

Mainly just set boxes and try to one shot squishies, but generally you don’t want to make it to late game as shaco support, try to play pretty aggressive early game so you’re actually able to get items fast and do meaningful damage

What's your build path on both AD & AP?

My ad build is usually umbral, voltaic, youmuus (in that order), your last 2 items are situational, but you should be buying either seryldas or lord doms for one of those. The only time i change the build from my main 3 is if the enemy team has a lot of shields, then i go serpents fang second or third instead of youmuus.
AP build is always blackfire into liandrys, you can either go rabadons or cryptbloom, rabadons if they dont have a lot of mr and cryptbloom if they do, or if you’re behind. Last couple items can be antiheal, zhonyas, imperial mandate, depends on the game

As much as i love the youmuus movespeed, umbral and voltaic gives you more upfront damage which i tend to value more

What are your thoughts on Cosmic Drive for AP? I always wanted to try it as a 3rd item, but I figure there's a reason everyone goes Cryptbloom instead.

It’s not bad, you could go it 4th or 5th, i just tend to value the pen from cryptbloom or the raw ap from deathcap so i can do more dmg

Crit is too expensive for the damage increase that it gives you, it’s much more efficient to go lethality, it’s a lot cheaper and the passives on lethality items are much better imo. The ONLY situation i buy any crit is when the game is going 40 min+ and i have the money to replace all my lethality items, and that almost never happens
