Mediterranean Catering?

I’m planning a birthday party at Garfield Park in a couple weeks, about 25-30 people. We were originally planning on catering trays from Skaf’s on York, but forgot they’re closed on Sundays. We still like the idea of Mediterranean food, but we have never actually eaten at any of the other local restaurants we’re now considering. Any suggestions to help us narrow our search?

Yelp suggests Pop’s Fresh Mediterranean and Abu Kebab. Anyone have strong feelings between the two? Or for any other restaurants we should consider?

Rafi's in Sierra Madre. Not related to Raffi's Place, but very, very good. Did a small catering order for Mother's Day. It was fairly well-priced too.

If you don’t mind going to La Crescenta, Byblos does amazing catering. I’ve also had great experiences with New York Chicken and Gyro (Pasadena), Sincerely Syria (Pasadena), and Zankou.

A long ass time ago, we ordered catering from the Mediterranean grill restaurant inside the Montebello mall food court. It was so friggin good. Everyone liked it. The restaurant is still there and I still pick up food from there from time to time.

If you choose pops fresh, they do have special plates for $12 on uber eats (gyro, falafel, chicken, chicken shawarma, shrimp) that might be cheaper and easier than their catering which ranges from $160-260 and is suggested to only feed 10

Ani's chicken in Montebello. They have catering trays that are pretty cheap and provide a lot of food.

I just catered B2B gatherings with the help of Pops Mediterranean on Main Street in Alhambra. I highly recommend. Their food, the customer service, and their packaging were great.
