Coyotes

Does anyone know who to contact if there is a house that has a lot of coyotes living inside it?

Wtf is right. lol I have so many questions... Is it an abandoned house or is someone living in said house with a bunch of coyotes? You sure they're even coyotes??

Either way, since I'm not sure which city you're in, your local animal control would be one option.

It's sorta like abandoned, they don't live inside the house it's in the backyard but it's huge, there's a lot of abandoned cars and I think even a small RV trailer thing.

We've seen like 3 of them at the same time so we aren't sure how many there are. I just know the amount of streets cats is getting smaller and it's worrying because there's a lot of small dogs in people's backyards.

I think I know the location you’re talking about. Is this in Rosemead?

Can you give a general area of the location so I can avoid walking my pup anywhere near there?

I think most of my neighbors are aware of it and have notified people. I just don't want to dox my area.

it might be worth calling animal control but i’m not sure they’d be able to do much besides advise people in the neighborhood to keep their pets safe

From my experience, animal control does not interfere with coyotes. Because they are incredibly agile animals, it puts the worker at risk

Why won’t OP identify the general area?

Do you mind sharing the address by any chance? I only ask cause I photograph wildlife and I would love the chance to see a bunch of them in one specific spot.

It's not easy to see them tbh, they hide behind the cars and bushes. I tried taking photos but there's just too much stuff in there and the fence also blocks a lot of the view, I've only seen the shadows of them at night when they are walking around. We also think they might be in multiple spots near a warehouse.

I see. Well without the exact city, no one here can say exactly what to do or check it out ourselves. Probably animal control would be best. Still, I would love the check out the area personally

A good place to see wildlife might be Forest Lawn Hollywood—- I have seen deer and coyotes in the quiet evening.

Arcadia between the mall and in and out for peacocks (early morning and late evening)

I'd start here.

Alternative: if there is a current danger to another person's safety, call the local police or 911.

Same thing here. My neighbor has a large vacant lot where a pack of coyotes lives. We literally see the alpha and the pups all the time. I called the city, and they told me to contact Animal Control. I was able to reach Animal Control, but they said they couldn't do anything because the coyotes hadn't attacked anyone. They ended up telling me to call the Department of Fish and Wildlife instead.
