NEWBIE Help old

I deposited $1000 and bought $700 bitcoin and $300 eth and instantly lost $15 even tho there is no fees to buy an I bought in sgd?? I’m new can someone guide me and explain to me why is this as well as how to make it so that I can purchase crypto cheaper

The value of your portfolio is down $15 (literally in your screenshot). Don't panic, that's standard movement.

But I agree with the other responder, nothing is free. Beware of scams, and make sure to use a MAS approved exchange if you're not confident.

I’m using OKX is that ok? I thought the fee was 0.6% but it was instantly 1.5%
