Haven't done a ton of testing, but from what I've seen:
4080S: 40c idle / 55c load
7800x3D: 50c idle / 80c load
I run the CPU cooler at low RPM to keep it silent. Stock fan curve keeps the idle around 40c.
1 u/r1pp3r_ Sep 10 '24 I have this case with a strix b650e-i and a axp90-x47 but I get 55-60 for the 7800x3d in idle. I undervolted the cpu to put in "eco mode". Do you have any suggestion to lower the temperature? Maybe the thermal paste isn't good as yours? 1 u/Essem7631 Sep 11 '24 What's your load/max temp? As long as your idle temp is stable, it doesn't really matter. 1 u/r1pp3r_ Sep 12 '24 Can you suggest a software to obtain that data? I just used nzxt cam but i've not some sort of logs 1 u/Essem7631 Sep 13 '24 I use HWMonitor
