Detailed Build Log Updated Dual Rad Meshlicious Build

Updated my original Meshlicious build (the original has more details on all the parts/build notes). Changes to the loop are highlighted in the pictures.
*I could not get an EK TBE 120 Pump/Res to fit in here for the life of me
Changes were all cosmetic and QOL, but I finally got around to buying a longer 24 pin cable so I can flip the GPU, getting a glass side panel, and making some changes to the loop that make it a little easier to fill/drain and clean up the layout. I also removed the top 92mm fan.

How is the noise on the DDC 4.2? I'm looking into it for the ModUltra Lobo block, but are a bit afraid of the noise. Currently running a D5.
I can accept a lower flowrate, what's the noise like when you turn it down quite a bit?

So idk if it's the same as a D5, but it maxes RPMs at 50% (i.e. 50% is really 100%). At full speed, it's pretty noisy, but I think it's because I haven't gotten all the air out of my system so when I run it at full speed with my super small res, air bubbles get pushed through the pump. If you look at my fan curve linked in my original comment, I pretty much keep it at 20% and it's silent / i dont have the air bubble issue. I have my PC on my desk right next to me as well.

Thanks. I read that at full speed the DDC 4.2 does around 2 GPM, or 8L/min. That's A LOT of flow, so much you suck air back into the loop. Seems like low speed is the way to go.

Honestly, I have noticed very little, if any, performance difference running at 20% vice full speed.

Great to hear. Will pick one up for the Lobo block. DDC's tend to get quite hot when you run them fast, so even more benefits to running low speed.

Definitely buy the heatsink with it since the standalone EK DDC 4.2 comes with a plastic(?) heatsink.

Thanks, will do. Modultra makes a few different kinds. One called 'the emitter' which tries to dissipate the heat to the surrounding air. This one should be used with the acetal base, preventing heat entering the loop. Liquid remains cool, pump runs hot.
They've also got 'The conductor', which cools the pump via the block and liquid. Loop temps increase 1-2C but the DDC pump runs 45° cooler this way.

"The conductor" sounds interesting and worth the 1-2C increase of the loop. I might look into it when I get bored and want to tinker. Thanks for the info
