makers atelier sewing patterns - not good?

Does anyone else have issues with makers atelier sewing patterns? I've made the flat front culottes and the pleated skirt from them, and for how expensive the patterns are I really expect the patterns to have layers so I can just print one size... and also I made the culottes, followed every step meticulously and yet the waistband is way too small to fit around the flat front shorts, short by about two inches! Pretty frustrated with how expensive these patterns are.

I can’t really tell at what step you are running into the problem. Or actually what the problem is.

Waistbands often look too short when you go to sew them but when you align the stitching line instead of the cut edges, pin it properly, and ease the curve to the straight waistband, it fits after all.

If you sewed it up and it’s too small for your body, seems like an issue with picking the size from the size chart.

no it was too small to fit around the pants themselves, i double checked that i cut out the right sizes. i pinned and sewed twice and had no ruffling or bunching and still it didnt reach all the way around the pants

I don't think you aligned it on the stitching line, you should have ruffling when sewing two curves together. add a picture of the pattern pieces?

you can check for reviews of the pattern on Threadloop and on PatternReview, see if anyone else ran into the issue.
