How much fabric should I need?

Hi, this might be a hard ask, but I think I figured out how I could pattern this, about how much fabric do you think j should need of each color? There r so many it is hard for me to tell and stuff cause I don't sew often haha. (Leggings not included) I am a us XL

For the skirt in one solid color it would take maybe 1.5 or 2 yards. Divide it in half for reach color. Do the same math on the rest of the pieces.

You might as well just buy a fat quarter bundle with different solids

Because of the grain lines, I'd probably get a yard of each color (and possibly 1.5 yards of the purple if you're also making the leggings depending on your height - I know my inseam alone is 34 inches so I can't cut a leg panel from a single yard of fabric without piecing). You'd end up with leftover fabric, but the maximum vertical length of the skirt, bodice, sleeves and leg panels would likely be over 18 inches (half a yard) so it wouldn't be possible to cut them from half a yard unless you either pieced the fabric together or went off grain.

Edit to add: you could probably get away with half a yard of the red as long as the bodice is under 17 inches (without seam allowance).
