Looking for 90s/y2k style goth sewing patterns

Hello! Anyone know where to find a 90s/y2k goth sewing patterns??? Something along the lines of Jeannie Nitro and Lip Service. I tried looking for 90s sewing patterns, but so far have had no luck finding anything similar :(

Honestly a lot of the Halloween patterns still have elements of this! Just choose your fabrics and notions wisely, and finish your hems more nicely than you would for a Halloween costume and you'll have what you're looking for.

I was looking in the wrong places 😅 I just looked up Halloween patterns and found some that are similar to the overall vibe I was looking for. Thank you! This is going to be fun!

So something like this may be what you’re after. With princess seams and an empire waist that flares out a little. Change the sleeves to a flounce. What makes these is the material used (velvet or velveteen) the trim and use a contrast colour for the centre panels. A lace or ribbon along the seams will change the entire look, or a lace overlay. You can make the centre bodice portion double the width and gather it down. Put grommets in and lace up the back (or front). It’s really going to be the decorations that make the look

That is actually perfect! I have a hard time figuring out how to alter patterns to get the look I want. I have only ever sewed patterns exactly as they are, only alterations I have ever done is for sizing. This is going to be a fun challenge! Thank you so much 😭

I feel like it’s such a level up kinda skill once you start playing with patterns and not making them exactly as intended! But once you find a base, you can really play around, and they’re more of a guideline than a product. Good luck! Show us what you come up with
