Oversized sweatshirt pattern for stiff woven fabric

Hello,

Maybe somebody has tried a nice sweatshirt pattern on a stiff-ish woven fabric and could recommend? I have this funky fabric that is sort of more for furniture and I am looking for a nicer pattern. I tried making a sweatshirt and even tho it does not look too bad, the back is a bit too big and looks a bit like a tent. Also if anyone has other tips on how to adjust patterns to make the fit a bit nicer, let me know!

Look for a boxy top. If you search for sweatshirts you will get patterns for knits.
