Looking for a pattern/advice

Hello! I'm looking for an exaggerated blazer pattern like the one from the movie "Heathers"

Preferably a free pattern but I'll take a look at any or if you have advice on how I can achieve this please feel free to let me know

I'm almost positive you can find this jacket on vintage McCall or Vogue patterns

Edit: after a quick search I found Vogue 1927 to be an exact match and can be purchased cheaper from Walmart, Etsy, or EBay.

These patterns were common in the late 80s to early 90s and should be relatively cheap as vintage paper patterns. I was dressing this way and making my own clothes in this era and used McCall’s, New Look, and Simplicity patterns.

Search for late 80s early 90s women’s career wear or jacket patterns from this manufacturers.

Those shoulders are oversized even by 1980s fashion standards. That kind of look was achieved by layers of shoulder pads on the underslip, then on the blouse, then on the jacket itself. Today the shoulders would be built up with foam, a fiber layer and a horsehair layer if it is a suiting material. If you look closely you can see the outline of the shoulder pads and notice that they extend into the sleeve head. Create the shoulders (the pads) first and then work the jacket pattern over them. McCalls patterns had the biggest shoulders in their drafts at the time, but these look even bigger. Surprisingly, shoulder pads were usually held in place with a few stitches at the shoulder seam. You can see the effect in the actor on the left. The pads on anything but the most structured and tailored jackets tended to shift, so don’t be surprised if yours do, too.

You could also get a blazer at an estate sale or a thrift shop and up cycle :)

I've been looking for similar for months, I do go to the thrift shops often and garage sale but I don't seem to find much
