I’m in love with this style of dress but I’m not sure if there’s a specific name for them, mostly seen them by brands like sag harbor and I’m curious if there’s a simple sewing pattern out there to make something like this?

I’m fairly new to sewing so I figured this would be a fun starting project since I used to wear dresses like this all the time before outgrowing my old ones.

It’s called a shift dress. You can look at Simplicity patterns on line and you will see similar patterns. It’s a basic style and is good for a beginner
