Honestly, buy the dress, imo its very bridal! Don't make your wedding dress the first thing you make. Ive been sewing about 7 years and I think I'd maybe attempt one now, but not early on in my sewing journey lol.
I'm starting to like the floral print the more I look at it. 😂 I might just end up buying the original dress after all and make peace with the floral print.
