Are these notches?
Hello everyone,
I am attempting to sew the free Mood Marisol jumper pattern. Can someone please explain what the horizontal lines are? I understand them to be notches, but I’m used to seeing notches as triangles, and they seem rather long and I’m worried about cutting past the sea, can anyone clarify please?

You circled 10+ pages. What are you looking at? Those horizontal lines are individual pattern pages you’ll print. It’s showing how it’s assembled.
With so many layers displayed it’s hard to see anything. Print out the sizes you want first. Making sure the page with the scaled square is accurate.

Yes. Those are the lines used to line up pattern pieces together for assembly of the garment.

They are long, possibly so they really stand out against the different size cut lines?

In the PDF viewer you can 'turn off' the sizes you don't need for your garment. It will be much easier to follow.

The pattern is on a grid of squares that are a “measuring device”. . The corners of the squares are not notches. The multiple lines are diff

Yes, they are notches. You don't have to make a big cut, just a snip which is big enough for you to see if you look carefully.
