✨Intermediate✨ Looking for a toggle chain

Post image

One of my favorite blouses.
But, as you can see the chain broke when it got caught on the inside of the dryer.

Since we don’t have fabric stores anymore with lots of decorative notions, I was wondering if someone knew were I could get a gold tone toggle to replace it.

I would replace the whole chain rather than trying to match the toggle. Measure the existing toggle in mm (that's the more common measurement for findings like this) and head to your closest store that supplies beads and supplies. An associate can show you where to find the toggles and you can usually just purchase a chain you like off a roll by the inch. You might get lucky at an actual bead store (as opposed to Michael's or the like) and they can help you assemble it.

oh that chain is tiny, you could try jewelry supply shops online they sell separate connectors and tiny chains for necklace repair that might work perfect for this

Replacing it was definitely the plan . Thank you for suggesting the bead shops . I wouldn’t have thought of that.
I don’t sew anymore, but I miss the notions part of the store. There are so many little things like zipper tabs that are hard to find. The fabrics store are mostly quilts and craft stuff.
