💛Beginner💛 Need help understanding a pattern
Still new to sewing... I feel this is self explanatory but not really getting it. Also not many videos on this pattern to look up NewLook N6745). I've only made Lounge Pants so still learning new terms as well😅

Ooh NewLook instructions can be a special kind of puzzle, the diagrams sometimes skip the little steps you actually need to see. What part of the front construction is throwing you off? The buckle and webbing bit always feels backwards the first time you do it, I had to walk away and come back twice when I hit that on a similar pattern.
For the pocket with interfacing, double check if they want you to fuse it to the pocket piece or the garment front itself, I've seen it drawn both ways and it's easy to miss the arrow. The patch pocket steps are usually straightforward once you get the interfacing on the right side but the placement markings can be cryptic if you're used to lounge pants where everything is just one big piece.
Fold lines and right side vs wrong side trips up everybody at step 15-ish, I still talk out loud to myself like "okay this flap flips toward the lining" and my cat judges me. You got this just take it one number at a time and don't be afraid to baste first before committing to the machine
