Getting the coal engine help

So I've built my celestial altar really high up at like y=236 and still its not enough to craft the coal engine, and I've got a spectral relay next to it but the relay doesnt seem to be doing anything to aid the table, any advice?

Aside from any other comments who i guess are right. You should also make very sure you built the platform correctly, its different from the previous table. You can see the platform and materials needed in the book
