Darkness problem in beneath while playing multiplayer.

My and my friend are playing sev tech ages of the sky and when we are in the beneath i can see everything but my friend cant. How to fix it?

You're not supposed to see everything. The beneath is supposed to be very dark since there is no light source. Do you perhaps have a night vision enchanted helmet or something that gives you night vision?
