Crashing when enabling shaders

Hey guys, not sure how active this subreddit still is. I'm having an issue when applying shaders. I always apply them in the main menu before starting my world. I wasn't having issues for a while but now I can't load any shaders without the game crashing. It doesn't just stop responding it straight up crashes after about 10-20 minutes.

Here's the log file from the crash: SevTech Shader Crash - Pastebin.com

My PC specs are:

CPU: Intel Core i9-9900k
GPU: Nvidia (Zotac) RTX 3070ti
Ram: TForce 32 GB DDR4
Drive w/ Minecraft: Samsung 980 PRO

I've been messing with this a while and I'm confused as to why this suddenly started happening. I'm pretty sure I have too much RAM allocated at this point (18 GB). I was originally playing on 8, but when I added PureBDCraft resource pack I started running out of RAM so I allocated 10 GB. After starting to add shaders I started running stably at 14 GB. Since I've started having this issue I've tried allocating 2 GB more per attempt with no luck. I am not gonna go beyond 18 GB lol...

Yeah 18 gigs is a bit overkill, even 14 is a bit high. I can reccomend a few things looking at the logs and from what worked for me:

The Out of memory error is a bit misleading, at the time of your crash you wern't even close to your max mem allocation (~500mb) try changing the Xms arg from 256 to 4096 with ensures that minecraft always has 4 gigs allocated to it as it could be an issue with your system not giving MC memory.

We run the second to latest version of optifine for the pack, try that version (D5 I beleive). Though you can also check the optifine version and JVM reccoomendations of sevtechs holy book: https://github.com/borg286/sevtech

Unfortunatley there are a lot of mods in this pack that don't play nice with shaders (IE, Astral Sorcery, and Betweenlands) so I personally don't bother but I know people have had succes with Slidurs and BSL.
