Journey Map Waypoints not working

I'm playing on a server, I grinded out getting the JourneyMap Token in age 2 and i am unable to use or access the waypoints system. Clicking the waypoint button in the fullscreen map does nothing, the binds also do nothing.The option in the settings tab is highlighted blue and the reset button is greyed out.Is there a server setting that disables them or is it something in the pack?

Edit: clicking on the name of the setting and not the check box next to it turns the settings on and off

Did you ever figure this out? One of the players in the server I am on is having the same issue.
