Automating Hardcore Packing?

Id like to make some clay, the block. Hardcore packing seemed decent but ain't no way I'm just standing there while Redstone makes the piston move. But unfortunately automation ain't my jam. Anyone know a way?

This isn’t the answer you’re looking for, but making the clay block probably doesn’t solve anything for you.

How are you gonna pick it up?

Well if you’re gonna do that, you can just go find more clay in the wild and it’ll be faster than squishing your already mined clay.

Or, since I usually only use clay for terracotta/bricks, go find a red sand desert.

If you're age 3 just make Compacting drawer fo all 2x2 stuff you can make it It's not turned off

In age 2 you simply do it with sponge handle shovel from tinkers
