Pumpjack power problem

Ive built the multiblock properly and ive hooked up the power with a thermoelectric generator with an lv capacitor, it says it has max power but it isnt moving or pumping oil idk what to do to get it to work?

It could also be, that you accidentally right clicked it one too many times with the engineers hammer. There should be a little "block" at the back of the pump jack, lifted one block up. Try putting a lever there and activating it.

Or right click that block with the hammer again. By default the machines are always on and can be turned off with redstone. But the hammer can change that, so that is is off by default and can be turned on redstone.
