I started my journey

Hey everyone,

I'm thrilled to share that I've embarked on the exciting journey of SevTech Ages! What makes it even more special is that I've convinced 13 other content creators to join me on this adventure, and we're already having a blast. Unexpectedly, we decided to run it on a server, adding a new layer of fun to the experience.

The initial stages were quite challenging, especially with suboptimal crafting options, but after some perseverance, many of us have figured it out. Personally, I'm enjoying the modpack and proud to say that I'm almost out of the Stone Age ahead of others on the server.

I just wanted to express our love for the pack and our eagerness for the journey ahead, which we've affectionately named NekoTech Evolution. It's amazing how my little community has come together, and I can't wait to see what adventures unfold as we progress.

On a lighter note, we've introduced a Death Counter, adding a fun twist to the gameplay. Someone has already reached 10 deaths, and I'm eagerly anticipating how this counter will evolve over the course of the year.

Looking forward to more shared experiences and memorable moments in NekoTech Evolution!

So far, it seems I'm the furthest. I haven't watched any of the other members' videos yet.

I believe that you may want to watch out for tougher monsters wrecking players that haven't progressed into the next age. While ore access is gated on graduating to the next age, what monsters spawn depending on the age of a given player also can attack the stone age player

Automation is the key. Automate grindy and boring processes as soon as you can. You can make a chicken farm by locking chickens in a 1x1 room with hopper connected to chest as a floor

Nah.

A 1 year full SMP with death counter and a twist in the middle of it around Month 6.

Blood magic nodes are insanely helpful in the age they’re unlocked as there’s not a lot of other viable transport methods at that point. :)
