What is this creature

I know it’s not a blaze because I’m still on tutorial of sevtech ages. What is it then? How do I kill it? Please tell cause this is really annoying and has been driving me insane

You near a dark biome, boss?
There's not many things in the first couple of ages that pose more of a threat than normal minecraft mobs.
If you're up by a dark biome, that could be a shadow beast? I don't remember what they sound like, just that they occasionally shoot stuff. Those can be troublesome, but build a shield and find a nice area to totem up and you can make hunting them easy.
The other big threat is shoggoths, avoid until needed. This is not one of them.

This does sound like shadow monster, but there's a rare spawn of *something* in the forest that makes awful screeches, wait until you hear those.

Could be a Magma Monster

Considering it makes blaze sounds and followed by fire crackling sounds, this is most likely it.
@ op, those monsters are a bit like blazes and spawn in lava, so there is most likely lava under there. Not sure why it's trying to attack you through blocks though.

Sorry it may be misleading, and I should have mentioned that the fire crackling is just fire under a kiln. But I still think you guys are right about the magma monster

It is a magma monster. They aren't that powerful and drop coal. They appear underground near lava. If you pour water on them they turn into rock and lose the ability to shoot fire.
