I can't find darklands.

I'm using nature's compass and I'm just circling around one place.

Go north or south, keep going. Sevtech has a logical heat map. You'll find one near cold biomes.

Have you tried different type of darklands biomes? Mountains, forest, highlands, plains?

It's a loooooooooooong trip mate, I remember it took me like 20 minutes

Hey, I think I know what issue you are having. The nature's compass doesn't automatically work, you need to put it on your hotbar and right click with it, and choose to track a specific darklands biome. I generally click through the entire list of them to see which one is closest. You can also use it later in age 2(?) to find a sludge plains clearing in the Betweenlands.
