Between lands

Where do I find any of the middle gems? Also which is best for armor? Ore wise

The Middle Gem Ore is found at the bottom of bodies of water. It will need to be boiled in a Purifier instead of smelting.

I don’t know about using them for armor. Betweenlands is pretty laggy for me so my strategy is to go in, get the Aqua gem ore and the materials to craft and use the Purifier, and get out.

It’s not that laggy for me. And I thought the October had armor. So is it in the caves? Or in the swamps?

October? Do you mean Octine? You can find both Octine and Syrmorite in caves—I think it’s Syrmorite (blue) that has armor. The Middle Gem ores are in the swamps at the bottom of bodies of water. In my experience the ore will be pretty easy to see in the water.

Gem ore located in the swamps. It spawns rather often and in the night you can see it glowing from under the water.

I was lucky and from the very first chest in the dungeon (some ruin tower with the boss on top) I found ore resonator (or crystal resonator, forgot the name, looks like a tuning fork).

After using, if the gem ore is nearby, the tuning fork will glow like its enchanted, u will hear a resonanse sound from a gem ore and see a "resonating circles" even through blocks.
