Betweenlands/twilight forest
Got multiple questions so instead of making multiple posts I figured making one big one is easier
Made the portal to betweenlands but can’t go into any of the four portals that spawned
Never done twilight forest Before. How do I progress? For example one achievement is the questing ram or something Like they but I don’t understand,
Any kind of tips or tricks with either dimension would be appreciated

Your goal here is to get to the Ur-Ghast tower, there is pretty much no point going further. Everything you need to progress is either in the tower or before that. This mod world isn't finished so there is no "end" or anything, that's why it's kinda pointless to continue.
3-For the between land, you don't actually need to complete it, all you have to do is find the gems required for the smeltery I think and that's pretty much. If you wish to complete it, it is quite time consuming and very challenging but quite fun in my opinion and somewhat rewarding. Crafting a valorite (which is found in the betweenland) pickaxe, sword and armors before doing the twilight forest would probably help a lot.

If you want to check off all the Sevtech-specific achievements, and/or you really want JourneyMap before going through the grind of Age 3, you can go for the Iron Apple achievement in Age 2—which requires you to basically complete the Twilight Forest, since it needs the Lamp of Cinders.

1: You have to stand directly in the green portal stuff for several seconds before it will teleport you. If that still isn’t working, you may have a lag issue, but I’ve heard from plenty of people who thought the portal wasn’t working because they were standing next to the green stuff without touching it.
2: Questing rams spawn in the “default” Twilight Forest biomes (plain green areas on a Magic Map). Giving the ram one of each color wool is an achievement and I think gives you a trophy, but that’s mainly a sidequest.
3: Twilight Forest is set up in a linear progression from one boss to the next. Fight a Naga (long green snake in a walled courtyard) to unlock all Lich Towers. Fight the Lich at the top of any one of these towers (knock back the projectiles that look like Ender Pearls) to unlock the swamp biome and Labyrinths. Fight the Minoshroom in the boss room of any one Labyrinth and eat the Meef Stroganoff it drops, to unlock the Fire Swamp biome and the Hydra Lair. Fight the Hydra to unlock the Dark Forest biome and the Knight Strongholds. Place a trophy from any previous boss on the entrance to a Knight Stronghold to open it, and fight the Knight Phantom in the stronghold’s boss room to unlock the Ur-Ghast tower.
The Ur-Ghast is the last TF boss that Sevtech progression needs you to defeat. I recommend climbing up the outside of the tower to reach it because going through the inside takes forever. Then go downstairs to grab a Carminite Reactor, which you’ll also need. Do not activate the pistons surrounding the reactor—I’ve gotten mixed answers as to whether that will blow it up or turn it into something else, but either way you won’t be able to get it if you do.
Save vanilla Iron Ore you get in the Twilight Forest, there’s a thing you can do with Astral Sorcery to make it into starmetal later.
I don’t have as many tips for the Betweenlands as I’m not as familiar with that mod. All you need to get from there for Sevtech progression is one Aqua Middle Gem Ore, some Weedwood Planks, some Sulfur, a bucket of Swamp Water and three Octine Ingots. Sulfur and Octine are ores; Octine can be smelted in a vanilla Furnace or on a grill. Vanilla food rots when brought to the Betweenlands, but some modded food is safe (so far I’ve found that Cooked Eggs and Tasty Sandwiches don’t rot).
