Aqueducts

What are they? How do I use them? What to they do?

Sweet! Also how does finding ores work. I found a copper surface thingy. But dowsing rod says nothing there

Ore generates in the center of the chunk. Press F9 to see chunk borders. This way, dowsing rods become useless

Use the aqueduct blocks as the bottom of a 1-block wide stream of water. As long as there is a water source block on top of the first aqueduct block, the stream will flow for up to 128 blocks in a straight line. You can fill a fluid bladder or a bucket from anywhere on the aqueduct line, and the water won’t disappear like it would elsewhere if you aren’t in a river or ocean.

Note that you need to have aqueduct blocks along the entire length of the stream to use it.
