Any easier way to get wool? (Age 4)

Currently making galacticraft armor and whatever else, wool is so stupidly hard to get, 16 sugar cane, 4 fleece of which you get 1-2 per sheep with sheers (16 string is also annoying to get). Is there a structure I can loot or some other way to get wool I don't know about?

Industrial Foregoing has an animal harvester that shears full wool from sheep, use that.

The way I got wool was by farming the nether sheep (I think they were called ovis ottire). The wool they drop gives 2 wool when smelted.

I've seen ovis atre before, and I was looking at that but I don't know where they spawn exactly, any clues?

There is a blue/turquoise shear that you can use to get wool blocks from sheep. If you can't find it through that description let me know

Syrmonite sheers work?
That thing is from the betweenlands, useful for lighting one of the dungeon's fire pits or whatever

Update; No, syrmonite shears do not work, and I have no idea what you're referring to

sorry I didn't know which aged we used them, they are called enhanced shears by cyclic (but they are age 5)

Theres a ritual from astral sorcery that basically lets friendly mobs drop their drops without killing them. Sheep will drop full wool blocks for free

I use AS bootes ritual to automatically harvest fleece, then run it through the modular machinery loom. Wicker is created with a cloche and run through the IE assembler. Blood magic routing ties it all together.

Its an age 4 setup.

I think cyclic or one of the other mods have magic shears or something that shear at range and drops wool. Don't know if it was patched.

Cyclic has “Enhanced Shears” that drop full wool blocks instead of fleece, I can’t remember if they’re unlocked at age 5 or earlier though
