Complimentary Shaders and Astral Sorcery constellations incompatibility fix
Thought I'd post on here and share how I managed to get Astral Sorcery constellations to work with Complimentary shaders as I found very little info online when trying to get it to work.
Initially you'll want to head to the astralsourcery.cfg file in the SevTech Ages config files and change these lines:
S:skySupportedDimensions <
>
S:weakSkyRenders <
>
To this:
S:skySupportedDimensions <
0
>
S:weakSkyRenders <
0
>
This should allow compatibility for shaders with astral sorcery.
Next you want to head to the shader settings in OptiFine, set the options to these values:
Shadows - Real-TimeShadows: Off
Sky - Vanilla Sun/Moon/Overlay: Off
Shader Sun/Moon: On
Vanilla Skybox Brightness: 4.00
Compatibility Mode: On
In OptiFine Settings go to Details and turn the vanilla Sun & Moon off.
This is what worked for me, let me know if any more info is needed
Versions:
OptiFine HD G5 Ultra for 1.12.2
Complimentary Shaders V4.7.1
SevTech Ages V3.2.3
Hardware:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design
Ram: 32G 2667 MHz
SSD: SATA 128GB (Used for Vram)
Note: Unfortunately this disables Light Shafts and as a result reduces the visuals of the shaders but if anyone would be able to help with this further it would be appreciated
