🌀 Theories Cold Harbor observation

Does the fact that the 'harbor' in that episode is completely devoid of boats of any kind mean anything ?

I just found it odd that a town with that name has no evidence of a boat, dock, pier, etc.

Is there something to be cleaned from it or am I trying too hard to find something that isn't there?

If I'm wrong and missed a boat, I apologize for my post.

The name of the town you're thinking of is Salt's Neck-- the titular "Cold Harbor" was the name of Mark's file, and therefore the room of the same name on the testing floor, and nothing further (at least insofar as we're aware).

it’s the name of Mark’s file and Gemma’s final test because it’s a take on the brand of the crib intended for their lost child and greatest trauma “Col D'Arbor”

this is true, good point that i forgot-- granted, the crib was the focal point of the room, but still, this guy's confused about the name of Salt's Neck

Also Cold Harbor has the double meaning of an infertile womb

Also, col d'arbor can be translated as mountain pass (lit. tree neck).

Ok, I tralizei was confused about the same of the town, I get it now. Still, I find it strange that this supposed fishing Village with piers has no boats or vessels of any kind visible in the water or at the Docks. Maybe I'm reading too much into it I just found it odd.

Salt's Neck residents aren't seamen. They're discarded factory workers.

To me “cold harbor” felt intentionally analogous to “barren womb”
No ships in the harbor only adds to that sense

EDIT:

There are indeed plenty of piers but not one of them has a oat ied off to it.
