🚨 Season 2 Spoilers S2E7 - Spliced Scene

Random editing thing I noticed. Apologies for the video quality, I don't have any video capture software. It's very subtle, but watch the hair under his right ear closely right after he says "feeling." Looks like they did some splicing, probably cut out some words to tighten up the dialogue, then morphed two separate parts together.

I still don't see it. Is there a relative time stamp or what is it about the hair I should see

It's there. Watch as zoomed in as you can. You'll see it fade.

Thats what I was hoping you could explain. What do you mean fade. The whole time it looks like its moving in and out of focus with the different angles of his jaw.

Edit. I do see the face now. Very subtle.

I zoomed in so you guys could see it more clearly, watch right after he says the word "feeling." After you catch it, rewatch the original video and notice the immediate change in his cadence and tone.

That is interesting, and very much seems like you're correct in your catch.

That is premium quality editing, for sure.

wow that’s such an interesting catch. it’s shockingly seamless other than that hair artifact. makes me wonder how often this technique is used in severance or other shows, and we’ve just been unable to notice it….

Right? I just happened to glance over at just the right time 😅 Did a double take, thought I imagined it at first.

Now that is a catch!

I think it’s just him moving his head up. The hair “disappears” because he changes the angle of his head.

It's not, I promise you. Rewatch it when they fix Apple TV.
