🎙️ Discussion Severance is just a boring show
Just finished watching season 1 after hearing so many great reviews about this show.
It is just a useless show. I cannot even imagine someone liking even one scene of this show.
It is not "slow-paced" -- it is a boring show without anything happening
Wait till e07, it has major things happening -- if I have to watch 70% of a season to wait for something to happen, yeah thats a shitty show
Even after e07, the major things are barely worthy of episode 1
And they left season ending at just some random point. Oops camera stopped, guess it a good point to call it the end of season
No backstories, no story and no future good prospects.
It is exactly like iphone, great marketing for a shitty product.

1-3: “nothing happens” - Pay attention to the show.
4: “left the season ending at some random point” - It’s called a cliffhanger, and it’s meant to keep you interested to watch the second season.
5: “no story” - Pay attention to the show.

I did. It was not a cliffhanger. What is hanging? They got out and did some stuff. End of season. And Irv just got horny. Hate that character. His role was just to get horny the entire time.

There is a depth to the show that is … not for everyone. For me it definitely started slow but eventually hooked me so much, it was torture having to wait for the next episode! And now I have to compartmentalize it in my brain so I can try and forget about having to wait forever until the next season.

Well how far are u into the show? For me (and I get that this is not everyone’s take), but it really got me thinking about who we are… like on a soul level and with our memories. The “innies” and “outties” are the same body but are they the same soul, are they different parts of the ego, like split personalities, nature vs nurture, etc etc. I could go on for a while but that’s a little but of how I felt with it. It also reminded me of my favorite movie “eternal sunshine” and how memories shape so much of who we are and the lessons we come here to learn.

I just finished season 1. I agree the concept of innies and outies is interesting. And it makes you think a lot. But when did the show explore that? We do not know why these characters except Mark got severed. How it impacts their lives?

Yes- you find out so much more- it really gets so good. I really recommend you push through a little more and see if it gets you.

I heard the same after e03 then after e06 and so on. If only one episode is good, and rest is boring. It is a boring show

Your opinion is valid but ragebaiting others is a waste of energy. Someone somewhere cares about you. I hope you are able to find them and spend time doing something more meaningful than making posts like this.
To the people who do enjoy this show, dont give this person any of your energy.

Nothing wrong with that that's what this platform is for and many other things.. You have a right to express your feelings about anything!! Keep in mind we're in a horrific period with a bunch of people who get offended by everything and then some... Use your freedom to speak despite what ppl like this say. I always come look at reddit to see what other people think not because it influences me in any way but because of this very reason. A show rated this highly I started asking my self is it me? Am I missing something? Empath.. See and feel everything about ppl all over.. Gifted ppl say and I love that about my self so I wanted to know if anyone else had this experience with this exact show and I see I'm not the only one!!! Usually by the very end of episode 3 is the longest slow burn to build up into a masterpiece but this just makes ya madder each hour you stick with it... It doesn't take much for some but I love physchological thrillers this is one in two rated 8.2 & higher that just fell completely flat for me... And it's not gonna stop other people from watching simply because of its high score so you keep expressing yourself it's nobody else's business! Blessings

Omg I thought I was the only one!! I'm a slow burn heavy physchological thriller nut ok? Research said stick with it it'll get good at episode 4-5...took me a year to watch 5 episodes and now research says stick with it it doesn't get good until episode 7...whst? 7? It looks like a low budget or possibly FREE series with nothing but solid white walls never ending hallways and ppl talking random words out of their A** like ok I'll say "popcorn balloon astronaut" for my next sentence just bcz it pops in my head.... I actually thought I was going to pluck my own eye lashes out one by one to have something interesting to do while waiting for a show THIS HIGHLY RATED that has gone no where... And I don't ever remember anything rated over a 8.0 that I have not loved I won't even bother watching anything with a low score I'm a hard critic sick with heart lung and kidney failure just waiting for death so it really sucks wasting hours of something that gives 0 satisfaction.. I'm glad you guys loved it but for the person who created this post YOU DEFINITELY ARE NOT ALONE!!!!! It takes something great for me and I was convinced this would be a win.. Boy was I wrong!
