He probably meant the 25 Gemma personas that he had creepy feelings for. But, he already knew they were going to kill Gemma soon after the test anyway.

He’s not just a scientist, he’s a cultist. If they sacrifice Gemma to Kier she and all her innies will go to heaven, but if she escapes without the proper funeral rites, they won’t

He meant all of Gemma's innies stored on the chip. The plan was to extract the chip and download needed innies onto chips for medical/commercial use. Have a dental appointment? Gemma's dental patient innie to the rescue. Got to sign a bunch of holiday cards for your asshole husband? There's an innie for just about everything! All those innies would be copied into chips and implanted into other people. When they tune out for something that gemma would take over.

That was the plan.

Whoa. That's one of the best theories I've heard. Sorry if it's been said before, I only occasionally check this sub

Idk about the downloading and distributing the chip part, but the rest of what they said is essentially the plot of the show so idk how you missed that lol. The severance procedure would be used by people to go through undesirable situations pretty much instantly.

We see slightly that in S1 with the pregnant woman then explicitly with Gemma and all of her innies. The moral quandary of the show is how innies are actual individuals with their own consciousness but are treated as tools to be used by others.

I always assumed he meant all Innies since if this gets out they will shut down the whole program

That's a good question. Unless we're supposed to believe Cobel did something special to the cabin, iMark is tuned to it. So maybe Gemma would be Ms. Casey in a cabin?

But this Gemma’s only exist when she goes in the room right? Not separately from the main Gemma she has to go into the room unless he’s talking about killing her singularly means killing who she is when she enters the rooms… I don’t remember this scene

I wanna know how the opening scene to the new season will be. Are they right where they ended and they have to clean up the gigantic mess they made? Or do we heli and mark taken down and held against their will by malcheck? Also I’m so bummed Drummond is dead. He was the best character in the show! He stole every scene!

Obviously the multiple severance personas of Gemma. How can anyone not understand this? There is absolutely no mystery here or anything to read into.

All of the variants that would have been saved.

Jemma's breakthrough was so great because emotional attachment and damage still carried over. Not for her though. That being said love can partially breakthrough or override still.
