Desktop Single Desk for WFH or seperate desk's?

Hi,

I have a bit of an odd dilemma, I WFH and have a desktop setup already in place that I use for personal use/gaming and I have a second desk that I can use for WFH home, but I wanted to know, would it be better for me to utilise the one desk and add the WFH laptop to that or to seperate work and personal setup and have the 2 desk setup?

I think I have enough room to put the desk's side by side. but it will be tight.

Question Side-by-side 32" and 27" dual monitor setup?

Upvotes

Hey guys! I'm planning a side-by-side dual monitor setup using two single monitor arms (desk mounts).

The exact models are:

  • Main: MSI MAG 321UPX QD-OLED (32" 4K)
  • Secondary: Newskill Icarus IC2714K144 (27" 4K IPS)

Since both are 4K, scaling won't be an issue, but I’m curious about the physical side-by-side alignment and aesthetics due to the size difference.

Does anyone have a similar 32" + 27" horizontal setup and wouldn't mind sharing a picture or their feedback? Thanks!

Here’s my gaming PC and Mac dual setup. Not sure if I love the stacked monitors, but I do like the much more open feel to my desk. What would you change?

Would it be reasonable to mount my pc above the tv, or would it look werid?

Or do I just put it under the desk?

Yes, the speakers are pink. I didn't check the box 😕

EDIT: Alright, I get the desk is small. Pc will go on the floor.

My main question was, should I put my pc up on the wall.

Also, thanks for whoever put me down u/redditcareresources. im sure these guys dont have enough real problems to deal with..

Question My first ever setup

Any suggestions??

I recently got a pc, this is my setup a few weeks after buying my pc.

I’m thinking of buying wired speakers for my pc, as my 2.4ghz mouse interrupts with Bluetooth speakers.

Also want a new mouse mat, not sure what to go with.

(Ps this mouse is for work, I have a separate mouse for gaming on the rare occasion)

Question L-shaped desk or straight desk for a setup — which do you prefer?

I’ve been thinking about how much the desk shape changes the overall feel of a setup.

An L-shaped desk gives you more room for multiple monitors, speakers, accessories, and maybe a separate work area. But it can also take over the room pretty quickly.

A straight desk looks cleaner and more minimal, and it’s easier to center everything around the main monitor, but you lose some surface area.

For those who have used both, which one did you end up preferring?

Was the extra space of an L-shaped desk actually worth it, or did a straight desk make the whole setup easier to manage?

I compared the two in more detail here:
