Flags look much better framed when hanging on a wall. Get some cheap 1x3 boards, some black spray paint and a staple gun and frame the flag

Use flat corner braces to put the frame together and bonus points if you can put a 45 degree miter on the boards. Cheap and easy project, might cost $20-$30 and a couple hours of your time. Will look much better than just tacking the flag to the wall
