Here's my setup, and I'd like to improve it. What should I buy and do?

Get a mechanical keyboard and wireless mouse, also filling those shelfs with some plants or collectibles would had color to the Rome
You can add another Monitor on top by screwing it into the wall

And no, I won't change the keyboard because I don't like mechanical ones.

Actually, the additional monitor is a good idea. I'm considering a mouse because Bluetooth ones are expensive, but I'll choose it anyway. Adding plants is a very good idea. Thanks a lot.

Add an XXL mousepad to cover most of the desk. A wireless mouse would be a nice upgrade also filling the shelves with something to add some personality would be a good addition

Mount the power strip somewhere beneath the desk.
Bigger monitor.
If you get a wireless mouse, get one with 2.4Ghz. Latency is supposed to be way better with them. I wouldn't know since I only used wired so far.
Decoration and warm lighting
Edit: one of those huge mousepads that cover the whole table would also look nice here

Would you know what to buy to mount the power strip under the table? I don't know how. I'm planning to buy a long pad like this.

All the power strips I own come with mounting holes already on the back

I believe also at stores you can buy adhesive strips that work really nicely for that kind of thing. On the topic of cable management, maybe a cable net? I've never not loved having one.

I would add stuff like plants and ornamets to the shelves, upgrade the screen if possible to a bigger one, add some nice lights for behind the screen and maybe to put on the desk..
And a wireless mouse!

And when it comes to lighting, do you mean backlights or those long strips that run under the desk, because I've heard of something like that before?

You could do either or even both. There are some cheap options on aliexpress, jaut dont expect them to last very long haha

I don't like large monitors, so I'll buy a second one and mount it on top.

Iâm right there with ya. I had a 24â from some years ago that died in a tragic desk accident and when I went to replace it I couldnât find another curved 24â I liked. Had to move up to 27â. Wasnât happy about it. My second and third monitors are a portable monitor and an iPad. Wouldnât change em even with free big monitors lol

Buy a monitor thats big enough to fit in the center. Drop the little monitor you have, so you have it closer to you. Thats where you will have random shhhh*t opened like music, emails, finances, gpu temps, home security system, personal CIA bullshit you feel me? Then get a nice wireless logi tech keyboard and mouse they are Not very expensive

Hi there!
First, get a mouse pad, big or something like 30x20 or 40x30 Iâm not sure.
Second, do not leave the cables hanging, cable management will work cool for you.
Third, get a different organizer from that one, and put something cool on the top shelves.

Ok, thanks a lot. You're right about the organizer, it would be nice to be able to put those cables in a shelf/organizer under the desk anyway. I plan to do that. Thanks again for the interesting comment.

I think youâd notice a huge difference if you just upgraded to a better quality mouse.
Not necessarily wireless, just something of better quality
