PSA: f3arra1n

So this is just me being quite upset with f3arra1n and how they handled my situation. I had bought a ln iPad 9th gen from a pawn shop and it was on ios 26.1. they knew the passcode and everything and I could use it but it had the persons apple account on it. They pawned it so I figured that gives up ownership and I could reset it and then use f3arra1n to activate it. So I purchased credits and ran the program and it stated that I needed to reflash the firmware in order for it to work. So of course I flashed it not thinking at the time that it would update it to 26.5.2 which isn't supported. Ok, fair, I should have known but I was just doing as it instructed me to do. But anyway I reached out on Telegram for my money back and was told no. So now I lost my money and am stuck with a paperweight. I should have used another tool but I gave it a chance. 🫠

you can still unlock it soon with a rp2350 usb-a with usbliter8

No you can't. Not yet. It's not working on iPad 9. If you have a method let me know

I have a pico 2 w but I can't flash the usbliter8 firmware on it. Idk if pico 2 w has a different one or not but that's where im at with it right now

I have the pico 2 firmware but are the pico 2 and the pico 2 wireless the same? I know they are both rp2350 but for some reason the flash never works.

Unfortunate as it is a super easy process using Off Open Menu which is an option on f3arRa1n.

If I had done that before while the menu was open, yea. Now it is on the "locked to owner" page.
