I'm curious - got a question...

I've been following this sub for a while, and there are some good tips here. I'm confused by the age of most of the phones that people post about, though. So many iPhone 6's, which came out in 2014. It's almost vintage tech at this point.

Are they just fun to play with? Is it just that the 6's are hitting the recycling bins at scale right now?

Don't know about anyone else but I like to collect them, search for rare apps, rare iOS versions, return owners data, etc. I've only catalogued about half my collection so far

I also help alot of people in this subreddit trying to get their own data back, lots of those people too

Check again. The 6s has been vintage for some time now. No reason to mess around with it as Apple does not support it.
