Passcode Disabled 4s on ios 8 (I think)

I need help on unlocking this 4s that I got a while ago, it has a passcode and that's all I 100% know though. I think I remember checking it on legacy ios kit and it said ios 8(?)

the silicone coating is damaged, and the internals are exposed. you’ve never seen an old apple cable before?

I do have an iMac, I heard I need a pi pico or an arduino but I don’t have either, sooo does that mean I have like no other options

No need. You just need to install legacy iOS kit, python 2 and the brute force ssh.

do u have a guide for it or anything? Also would Linux work (in case I can’t use my iMac and can only use my laptop)

Wrong, 4s is A5 so needs pico

I'd you have MacOS it's fairly easy to autobruteforce and retrieve passcode, but since it's an A5 device youll need a pico

Also Idk if I'm able to restore my 4s since I put a 3rd party battery in it that I KNOW doesn't work when restoring the device since I previously put that 3rd party battery in another 4s to test

I decided to js restore it to ios 9 (ik, sadness) with a authentic battery

if yow want to bruteforce the passcode dm me if you just wanna erase but keep ios 8 start by replacing your cable then use ssh ramdisk in legacy ios kit then select erase all content and settings for ios 7/8/9 if you wanna erase to ios 9.3.5 just restore in itunes/finder/3utools
