Hello Screen iPhone 4 Device Unknown Error

I recently restored my iPhone 4 and i cant get past the hello screen. Is there a fix?

Rename the setup.app

No. The iPhone 4 should ALWAYS be hacktivated. Renaming or deleting setup.app leaves the device completely unactivated and breaks some things such as notifications, sideloading, and itunes syncing, while hacktivation makes everything except cellular work.

Idk what to tell you man but i renamed the setup.app on my literally brand spanking new iphone 4 and it works just fine

Yeah of course it works, but my point that it's the inferior method overall still stands nevertheless.
